The Winchester SXP Black Shadow is a 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with a 28-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber and a 4+1 capacity. It weighs 7 pounds and measures 48.5 inches overall, with a 14-inch length of pull. The inertia-assisted Super X action cycles the forend quickly for fast follow-up shots, and the synthetic stock, black metal finish, fixed bead sight and cross-bolt safety complete the field configuration.

The SXP suits shooters who want one pump gun for upland hunting, clay shooting or waterfowl, which are the uses the supplier lists. The 28-inch barrel gives a balanced swing for moving targets, and the synthetic stock is built for weather-resistant field use. The four-round tube plus one in the chamber gives a practical count for follow-up shots in the field.
