The Daniel Defense DD4 M4A1 RIII is a semi-automatic AR-pattern rifle in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO with a 32-round capacity and one 32-round magazine included. The supplier describes a 14.5-inch government-profile barrel with a pinned muzzle device that brings the overall length to 16 inches, paired with a mid-length gas system and a 1:7 twist. The black finish, CAR-15 style adjustable stock, Nickel Boron bolt carrier group and ambidextrous controls round out the build. It weighs 6.7 pounds.

This configuration suits shooters who want an AR platform with an optic-ready rail and a 32-round magazine for range sessions. The 1:7 twist supports a broad range of bullet weights, and the mid-length gas system is meant to give smooth, balanced cycling. The threaded barrel and ambidextrous controls give left- and right-handed shooters the same access.
