Remington Core-Lokt Managed Recoil is .30-30 Winchester ammunition with a 125-grain soft-point bullet in a brass case. The box holds 20 rounds, and the managed-recoil load runs at lower velocity than standard .30-30 to reduce felt kick. The Core-Lokt bullet is built for controlled expansion and strong weight retention at those velocities.

The load suits hunters who want a softer-shooting .30-30 for deer and other medium game, which the supplier names as its use. The lower recoil is useful for new shooters or anyone running a light-framed rifle. The managed-recoil loading is designed to keep effective performance at reduced velocities, so it stays practical for hunting. A 20-round box covers a hunting trip and gives you range time to check the zero before the season.
